 Postgraduate in relevant area of discipline with minimum 55% in Geology / Applied Geology / Earth Science / Marine Geology / Hydrogeology of any recognized university with M.Phil or 5 years’ relevant research / teaching / professional experience can take admission in Ph.D programme under Category A.

The candidate has to present the Ph.D proposal before the Doctoral committee for approval.

Note: Programme Fee of Rs 7,000 is per annum. In case the course work is recommended, an additional Rs. 7000/- fee is applicable.





 The Ph.D Programme in Geology aims at enhancing and deepening the understanding of the geology professionals to enhance their career prospects and skill upgradation in research and teaching in Geology.
